Getting Started
Fortunate Wheel lets you create interactive wheel-style games for classrooms, trainings, team events, family nights, and review sessions. You can create a game manually or, with Pro, turn existing content into ready-to-edit game drafts.
Creating a Game
Start by entering a game title, then choose how you want to create your game. Free users can build games manually. Pro users can also paste content, import from a website, or upload supported documents to generate ready-to-edit game items.
Manual Creation
Manual creation lets you type your own phrases, categories, clues, and difficulty levels. This is available on the Free plan.
Pro Creation Tools
Pro users can speed up game creation by using supported import tools, including pasted content, website links, and document uploads. Generated items are editable before saving or launching.
Teams
Free games include up to 2 teams. Pro users can add unlimited teams. During setup, enter team names, save teams, shuffle the cups, and pick a cup to choose who goes first.
Playing a Game
After the round starts, spin the wheel to determine the turn outcome, then guess letters or solve the phrase. You can also use Auto-spin next turn if you want the game to spin automatically.
Saving and Editing Games
Logged-in users can save games, edit game details, organize games by category, and return to games from the dashboard.
Categories
Categories help you organize saved games by subject, topic, class, team, or event. Categories are available to Pro users.
Billing and Pro
Pro unlocks faster game-building tools, unlimited saved games, unlimited teams, categories, and import features. Billing is securely handled by Stripe.
Troubleshooting
I cannot generate a game from a website.
Some websites block automated reading or do not provide enough readable content. Try another link or paste the text instead.
My upload did not work.
Make sure your file is supported and contains readable text. If the file is a scanned PDF, paste the text instead.
I cannot add more teams.
Free users can use up to 2 teams. Pro users can add unlimited teams.
I forgot to enter a game title.
A game title is required before generating, saving, previewing, or launching a game.
I need to update or cancel Pro.
Billing is handled by Stripe. Use the billing tools in your account when available, or contact support for help.
The game is not loading.
Refresh the page and try again. If the problem continues, contact support.
